Tents at King George Park

For the love of the game, well security

At King George the VI Park in Port of Spain, Trinidad there are a series of white canopies and large tents that are placed within the space. These types of bleachers are put up for the carnival season to accommodate the number of fetes that take place.

What is remarkable about them is that there silhouette is quite clean and architectural, giving an air of graphic simplicity and artistic beauty. They quietly stand out against the very green grass and are quite striking. thebookmann took several photographs of the forms to show just how dramatic they look in the park. – Adele

The seams that construct the walls of these German made structures.

Note: At first, thebookmann thought these tents was for the purpose of hosting Carnival fetes, but they are actually for the World Cup Cricket which commences next month.
